As the Mt Dare Hotel is a remote area seasonal business, so our staff requirements are seasonal also. This is an exciting Outback Pub on the edge of the Simpson desert that allows you to meet lots of travellers from all over Oz and the world. Every day is different so the ability to do varied tasks is required.

The ability to work under pressure with a variable work load is essential and sense of humer is preferable. Mechanical knowledge is desired but not essential.  You must be able to commit to the required term of employment as an early departure places extra workload on other staff.  We do try to create a casual friendly work environment but you must want to actually work, this is not a holiday camp for people to stay a week and then move on.  2010 has seen us messed around by many employees, if you can't meet the commitment don't apply for the job.

Our remote location does make it difficult to get away from this work environment, accumulated days off will give you the opportunity to travel the Simpson or Alice Springs.

We require 2 full time people, 1 couple throughout the year as well as 4 seasonal staff, 2 x 2 couples. Accommodation and food is included as a part of your employment.  No pets or childeren.

While couples are desired they are not essential, single people may apply. This does however place stress on the ability to accommodate staff in private quarters.
